I'll say hello to Annette and all the others who blog during our night-time. I will be in my bed.
EJ seems restless - having a preen, sorting the eggs out etc.
Hey Lynette: Thanks again for getting us started! :-)
EJ on nest but there's a strange shape just to the left at the rear, beyond the nest. Could be they've changed the angle of the camera and we're seeing something that's there all the time...? I'll be watching when it gets light to see what it is..
Hmmmm! There are a couple of trees just about there in the middle distance, the ones Odin disappears to sometimes. you'd think they would be too far away for the night camera to pick up though, unless there's a bit more light ariound there for some reason tonight.
Smiles, Jan.
Hey Wattle: That thing has moved to the right now ; all a bit odd.
Well, that thing just moved from right to left and immediately thought it was a bug, but it's gone back beyond the nest. Geez. A mystery.
ha! Now that thing has gone. No-one is going to believe me. :-) Resoution is really bad - can't easily see EJ....oh there, she's moved. So she's okay in spite of these UFOs
Well, I'll believe you, because I saw it too. If it was a light source, it was more general, like a lantern, than directional like a torch or headlights. I guess that's our mystery for the night, Annette.
That's the dawn chorus just kicked off at LG. :-)
Warning! This post contains atrocious spelling, and terrible grammar. Approach with extreme edginess.
I can just barely, barely see the horizon and already Radio Chaffinch - or some other noisy program - is broadcasting! I saw EJ up and looking around and turned up the sound - obviously no volume control at the LG nest.
Oh Heron! You are there - is that Radio Chaffinch (I thought that was the funniest thing when you first called it that!)
