Looking at the nest, EJ head tucked under her wing and resting - all is at peace.

Brenda the more you watch these wonderful ospreys the more you marvel at the strength, tenacity and approach to breeding in some awful weather at times. This what makes them so wonderful. Am trying to sort out stuff to pack and not really sure what I should be taking. Although reasonably warm in Venice they are having lots of heavy showers. Just hoping it will settle down a bit for next week. Talking about weather I see they could have hail showers next Monday and Tuesday at LG, now that will be painful for EJ and Odin I should think.
Margobird
Me too Cirrus anticipation already building.
Odin is back he all but shoved EJ off the eggs this time. So funny.
Gee, another change over from EJ to Odin, on the nest.
Margo, Sounds as if you will have to make a late decision, re what holiday clothes to take with you.
Who is on the nest at the moment? Looks like Odin !! But EJ made no fuss at all about leaving the eggs !! Odin peeped a few times- EJ got up and flew off good as gold to let Odin sit!!!
It is Odin of course. I was just so surprised to see him arrive and ask EJ for time to sit !!!!
Uh oh - warning calls and Odin is off to sort out intruder. Where are you EJ?
Brenda I think Odin is thinking I caught you 2 fish already today and I deserve a sit down, so you go and have some "me time" and I will just rest easy on the nest.
I am in the middle of ironing clothes for all eventualities and trying to watch what is going on, Odin has just left so hope EJ comes in now to resume duties. He is a real fidget bum today.
Ah, here she is
Odin just left and EJ back.
