Looking at the nest, EJ head tucked under her wing and resting - all is at peace.

It is very peaceful at LG : EJ's head is drooping as she is serenaded by various birds (sorry I don't know all their songs) and includes the usual cuckoo in the distance. That moss is very colourful this year.
Suddenly she has seen something - must be Odin as she starts the usual food soliciting chirp....
A FISH ! Odin flies in with a small fishy, EJ shouts and grabs, and she's off!!
Odin now in residence. (pic is of EJ grasping fish from Odins talons before exiting fast!)
YES. Just tuned in and saw EJ with fish and then leave. Good start to the day.
Morning Lindybird - I heard the commotion from the other room & dashed in to see EJ getting her breakfast fish delivery ... good boy Odin!
EDIT > Morning Brenda H too!
Joan - avid bird and nature watcher in Northumberland!

Odin now doing his usual housework, as a twig is annoyingly poking him in the eye - however he does not want to get off the eggs to deal with it.
I have to go temporarily, hope someone else comes on soon....
EDIT: Hi DjoanS that was a quick exit from EJ wasn't it?
That is a very 'twiggy' twig that is annoying Odin ... no doubt one that he himself brought in to construct the windbreak!
EJ probably got such a surprise to be given a breakfast fish that she grabbed it & flew before he changed his mind and took it back :))
Hello Brenda H too, what a good start to the day. I leave with them in both of your capable hands to report on further nest dramas.
Sorry, Linda and Joan, Good Morning. It all happened so quickly I missed my morning greetings to you.
