Hi all. Back in a bit.
And now it's raining! Oh, come on! Give these poor birds a brreak! they certainly are hardy, contending with all this weather, aren't they?
Smiles, Jan.
Hey Wattle: Weather looks horrible at LG - windy and wet. I think the UK folks must be watching election results (or maybe not). I'm sorting through recipes in between other chores...
Huh. A loud "boink" as if something hit the camera post or.... - and a dog barked somewhere - in the distance. Wonder what that was. Made EJ sit up too.
Well, just logged on again to catch up on evenings events to find EJ sitting peacefully and now having a little stretch and settling down again. Thought I saw two birds on nest but it was a trick of the light.

Hello Wattle and Annette - so then, just the one fish today. You are both so invaluable starting the day for us and the forum - can't thank you enough for your input. Hello Lynette, sometimes you seem to keep late hours. I've just got in and am going to have a peek at EJ on the night nest them catch up on a programme I missed vis Demand 5 and so to bed.
EJ looks like a white headed Bald Eagle :)
Hi Lynette: Any news on the election or is it way too soon? Also, the National Geo has a photo of red squirrel (taken in Inverness) in a photo story about endangered species...
OK - I stand corrected
Unknown said: Sorry Lynette, it is EJ on nest now. See Cirrus's post above. EJ then returned and picked the bark up as she was ' encouraging' Odin to move, which he did.

Hi Annette, its too early for election results and in any case I don't listen to all the discussions - I'll find out in the morning when we should have an idea whose in. OH is watching the results programme though. I leave it up to him.
As to the red squirrel photo - one was taken for the Facebook page and I have it in my folder to use as a background. I know its not the osprey but she/he is so gorgeous to look at. Tried to copy picture to site but can't. I think you may find it on the RSPB Operation Osprey site on Facebook
Annette, I've just checked and it is on the Facebook page - scroll down and you will see a group of three with the red squirrel in the centre. Apparently it was taken at Abernethy last year.
