Hi all. Back in a bit.
EJ looks contented now, still looking round though. Radio chaffinch has shut up - or no - maybe that was him, just. Give us your late afternoon song.
EJ chirping gently - could be talking to the chicks? Looking round, could Odin be about. Otherwise quite peaceful.

So glad I went out early this morning and missed all the fish anxiety. I can only guess that EJ must wait untill Odin is hungry, but then maybe Odin is sneakily eating his first catch and EJ has to wait for when he can catch a second. As Margo said, he certainly is a ' laid back' fellow.
Thank you so much for all your commentary and pictures. EJ looks very contented now.
Thanks for the updates and the fish count. !! At least EJ got a meal . I wonder if the rain makes fishing more difficult. any fishermen care to comment ?
Formerly known as Barbara Jean
A squadron of geese overflying the nest. Lovely, Didn't upset EJ at all.
Some bird calling, and EJ looking round. Sounds a bit like geese but probably not. Passed now - strange!!! Can anyone shed light on what bird it was?
I understand BarbaraJean, that heavy rain at least breaks up the surface water making it harder for the Osprey to see into the depths.
EJ looks as though she's having a change around and stretch. Not quite sure about settlling down again .

It was geese then, my ears didn't deceive me.
Ah! there goes Mr. chaffinch again, missed his song in the background. Having a late afternoon sing.
Sounds very windy up at LG, EJ looking around.
EJ calling now, could be she wants Odin to sit for a while or maybe just a comfort break.
