OK. So we're keeping a special eye out for Odin this morning..... Cirrus: I remember Odin bringing fish very early when I was watching the chicks last year - it's much lighter earlier then so that may account for it. jsb: Thanks for the info re EJ's (non-)returning chicks. BIrds must be a lot like us: We love to see our kids but aren't too keen on having them move back in and taking over the house.
Darn it! I went out the room for about 3 minutes and it all happened whilst I was gone! Glad EJ has her fish, though.
Odin now on the nest looking very handsome.
Like you Linda, I missed alll the action, again!
Hi Lindy
He is . You can keep saying it but he IS a handsome fellow! Funny how one minute we're all in a quandry about him not being around and I think it's because if we're honest we just l;ove seeing him and his antics!!
Everything in life is speaking in spite of its apparent silence.
Here he is, just now:
MY PIN UP BOY
Also missed the action as I was in the garden watching a buzzard soaring high above the house. Also noticed that the local house martins are back. Only birds I have not seen or heard this year so far are swifts.
Lindy LOL Be still your beating heart" :-)))))
AP. I wonder why the swifts are having such a hard time of it this year!??
Odin leaves the nest and in a mini second EJ arrives and speaks to the eggs and settles down. Peace reigns for a short while at LG.
A sudden changeover: Odin departs, and EJ returns and checks the eggs before sitting:
- I have put some lines of poetry for Odin on the Weekly Chat Page.
Lindy
Short and to the point and true!! Good one!!
