Yes well, no live camera, no update. Here's hoping it's back on line soon!
Good evening all have not been watching this afternoon as have missed all the goings on. Can't see mention of a fish for EJ, does this mean she has had nothing all day.
thanks to all for pics and commentary on what has been happening.
Margobird
Here she is looking out for her supper: where is that boy?
EDIT; Don't see any mention of fish, Margobird.....
Is anyone concerned about Odin? Of course I'm usually blissfully unaware at work and I come home to discover that there has been a fish and he's arrived home.
He's not all that late, Cirrus - think its not unusual for it to be 7.45. or 8.00 pm before a fish appears. It should be an easy day to catch them, I would have thought, seeing as we are told its harder when rain is falling.
Thank you for that Lindybird - too much imagination and memories of fishing line.. Still, i'ts a long ole day for EJ.
I always think that the egg sitting stage must be particularly boring for an active adult osprey, they seem to lead fairly busy lives the rest of the year.
I agree - Lindybird , but at least the motivation is there (offspring) and with EJ I'm jolly sure she remembers what a successful year she had.
EDIT it's me that's bored LoL !!!! Cmon Odin
Tell you what, Cirrus, I'll go and tidy up the kitchen - then theres bound to be some action!
(the fish pie was delicious by the way, sorry EJ!)
A cuckoo calls. Has anyone known Odin bring the supper fish as late as this, this season?
Cirrus. There must have been a fish delivery at some point cos EJ isn't soliciting for food. nor does she seem peckish . I'm sure she would let him know!!
Everything in life is speaking in spite of its apparent silence.
