Yes well, no live camera, no update. Here's hoping it's back on line soon!
Pretty sure it wasnt Odin Lynette - he's been gone long enough to be out on a fishing trip. Hope he's fishng anyway. I feel sure he'd be on the nest by now if he were around. Fiesty EJ will sort it out .
I think the intruder was sitting on the camera tree and is now gone. Bur then again she uis looking skyward again!! Now she's quiety for the time being!!
Everything in life is speaking in spite of its apparent silence.

I'm sure you're right Cirrus, it certainly is the intruder -keeps flying past nest and upsetting EJ.

David Anderson left this on the main blog Annette , thought you might like to read it if you missed it .
jsb, we have not seen any of the LG offspring back at the nest, and by the way EJ was acting this certainly wasn't a friendly call!
she seems calmer now. perhaps Odin is chasing off the intruder or she did a good job herself
Annette: I'm pretty certain that EJ would treat all intruders the same, whether they were one of her own offspring or not. LG staff recently stated that none of her chicks from previous years has ever returned to this nest site.
Things have settled down now after the excitement of the afternoon. Done a little housework but is still waiting for her tea/supper.

Thanks Cirrus and Sandy for info on returning offspring (probably not even her kids would want to upset EJ!)
Thanks to all for info. Great bit of film, Alan - I certainly wouldn't like to challenge EJ when she is in defence mode!
