Evening/morning all - and yes, I too had problems getting to the RSPB site yesterday.
Odin arrived, moved a big stick around, passrd a piece of bark to EJ, and hinted for a go on the eggs, which she ignored. Odin had a bit of a look around, then flew to a tree in the middle distance with bare branches on top of it, where he roosted. Now he's still, I can't see him, of course, because vision is not so good.
Smiles, Jan.
I know where he is but you cannot see him now, about the size of a pixel.

Sat track schedule Spring 2014
LG 7 days; RW & SWT nil; LDOP varies
He's left that tree now, was visible as he stretched his wings, took off in the 10 o'clock direction, either to a further away tree or over the horizon, could not see which, really must go now.
Another big stick!
I'm thinking the generator at the centre is under quite a load today, and that's why the variations in the sound of the hum. Odin is now back with another stick. Perhaps he's getting them from that tree he landed on. He did more housework, almost standing on EJ while he did it, but she wqs not going to budge! She started asking for food, and he left again. I can still hear her chirping, so he probably only went as far as the tree again.
Morning All. (had to go on urgent food shopping mission myself, so have only just tuned in)
EJ sitting alert on the nest. Can hear the Cuckoo in the background, also lots of chirping around from other birds (one of them Odin ??).
11:43 am. Possible intruder about as Odin can clearly be heard just off the nest with his warning "chirrup".
Hi Sandy: She was certainly keeping an eye on something which flew past a few mins ago.
Morning Lindybird. I agree EJ looked wary but not overly concerned. The only problem if there is an intruder about is that Odin will probably hang around instead of going off fishing.
In my experience of the male sex, going fishing is usually preferable to housework! Lets hope that as its not raining at LG today, Odin will be able to come up with a biggie.
The microphone just did some strange acrobatics, and now the buzzing is different - not so bad, so lets hope it stays like that for a while.
