Daily Update (LG Nest) Saturday May 1 (already!?) 2010

EJ stood up, stretched her wings, and flew off for a long circuit. Came back to move large stick, settled on eggs, pecking at moss.

Well, the change over was missed cos i'm sure it's Odin in charge of the eggs at 08.11 . I wish EJ would fish for herself but it's just exercise she's after and a chance to stretch her wings. Odin doesn't seem to bring her early breakfast any more . Only one small fish yesterday !  What willl he do when there are five mouths to feed?

Yes, the buzz is much louder today sigh, But I'm out at about from 10.00 am hiking all day so I sure hope I read fish reportS when I get home. Hear me Odin?

Good morning all  hope there is going to be fish today.  Going out so not much time to look today.  Maybe will have a chance to have a quick peek later on.  EJ looking very peasceful at the moment.

EJ back at 08.48 and insisting Odin gets up  and off he goes, TO FISH I HOPE   rrrrrrr

09.25 and a cuckoo has been calling (faintly but distinctly) in the backgroud - very persistent. EJ alone in the rain wishing Odin would come in with the first fish of the day.

Well, it seems everyone is away for the Bank Hol weekend so I trust you all have a splendid tiime. EJ is on nest, fishless, currently. Hear Odin - oh   !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Odin returns FISHLESS to nest at 09.44. THIS JUST ISN'T GOOD ENOUGH ODIN.

is it just me or does anyone else think that Odin isn't trying hard enough fish wise?

Off out shortly myself so I really do hope someone catches a fish delivery - dare not hope for two "   rrrrrrrr

I heard Odin tweet in background so he really does not consider fish important . rrrrrrrrrrrrrrr and now carmera is frozen and sound is off . Oh well,

EJ on nest presently, have been watching from time to time since 6am, no fish observed so far as I saw, now off to M&S for some grub for for the weekend. They have trout on their menu this weekend.

P.S. She just got up and rearranged the three eggs, all look OK. She is not calling for food either. The rain may have almost gone off, but there is a dripping noise.

Odin just back without fish! 10.25am, she's still not bothered.

He's flown off to the tree left of centre of screen, I could just see him as he landed. So she can see him.
