Evening/morning all - and yes, I too had problems getting to the RSPB site yesterday.
The last two hours have beeen quite interesting to watch, my friend who was here has just left and we may have another person who will be hooked to watching the nest now. Incidentally the indoors temperature has dropped to 17.5 deg C, time to restart the central heating, which I had shut down for the summer!

EJ just returned and evicted a somewhat reluctant Odin from the eggs. He has flown off in disgust, as he would probably have liked to sit on the eggs for another hour or two!!
Here's a clip of the last change over

LOL Linda, I think you're right about Odin wanting to sit there for hours at a time:)
Tish thanks so much for your comments about the fish. Really appreciate it. I hope everybody has had a good day. Sharon and I just back from a 13 mile hike to find EJ alone in the nest looking calm and peaceful.
EJ flies off for a comfort break ... Odin zooms in to egg sit ... I have a feeling it won't be for very long! Don't get too comfortable Odin :))

Odin alarm calling and mantling on the nest ... eventually flies off and EJ returns to the eggs.
More great teamwork from Odin and EJ. Odin had to chase off an intruder so EJ was back on the eggs within seconds.
Managed to record that sequence:
