OK guys, I think EJ will be on her own tonight. We have some friends by the house and will pop in when I can.....but also need to get some rest after a somewhat frustrating day. EJ on the nest and all is well at this point.
Good morning auntie sorry I was away from computer so didn't see it. EJ is looking very watchful at the moment so I guess there is someone around that is giving her cause for concern.
Hello Alicat hope you are feeling much better now. Have only been watching on and off as have to do chores first but I don't think there has been a fish yet.
Margobird
Good morning TerryM I thought Odin flew in with the yellow moss but I could be wrong. Seems like a big clump. He came in for a few moments and then flew off again. I like the way the camera is set up because you can see where he heads off to. Hopefully fishing now. Seems a lot calmer at LG today.

Good morning everyone - Auntie, if it was an intruder then the incident was quickly sorted I'm glad to say. I am QUITE sure, unfortunately, that no fish have been delivered yet Alicat. Pleased you're feeling much better. Yes, I can see a 'new' clump of yellow moss has arrived Margobird. Obviously this year's colour. (Last year it was red). The other clump was tufted up and distributed around the egg cup as , no doubt, this one will be.
Please let there be two BIG fish today Odin. You need them as much as EJ does.
(Gary: thank you, got my Bridgedale trekkers and liner socks for my boots.)
Chaffinch is back singing, EJ I think looking round but quite at ease on nest
Hi Cirrus. I am quite sure(ish) it really was an intruder. EJ was happily on their eggs then she suddenly got up mantling and yapping, then an other osprey landed on either to the nest or straight on EJ`s back. There was change of words and a hard flapping of wings, but unfortunately my Internet connection tilted and when I got back on line EJ was preening like nothing happened. I really find it strange behaviour if it was Odin. But now I must go, will be back later :)

Just looking at the Finnish site - much better weather and osprey - sorry don't know names there - is on nest.
Interestsing Auntie ! It certainly was an intruder then. The 'maybe tried to land on EJ's back' ..... mmmm .... I do trust it wasn't OVS reappearing !!!!!! (Doubtful)
Ah, I hear a greater spotted hammering away.
EJ is calling - I wonder if she can see Odin somewhere eating the head of a brunch fish .... I wish !!!
EDIT sound much better today Lynette
