Evening all. All looks quiet on the nest.
Its as though Odin or EJ wants the other one off the eggs so they can sit, still nest arranging.
Its almost as if they want to settle together - ahhhhhhh - but that probably won't happen..Probably Odin has just flown off for the night.

Cirrus: Some days ago someone who had visited the Centre (cant' remember who, or on which thread now) explained to us that the Centre and the Loch were at about 15 - 20 minutes past the hour as we look out of the camera over the nest, with the Craigcorme (sp?) Mountains were at about 15 - 10 minutes to the hour. Now, if I look in Google Earth and turn the compass until the Centre and the Loch are in about the right direction, that puts the view out from the nest camera at about SSE, by my reckoning.
Smiles, Jan.
Hi Wattle, the mountains are the Cairngorms, its Gaelic for Blue Mountains, Gaelic pronounced Garlic without the R. Irish gaelic is quite different and they pronounce it Gaylic, - incase its of interest lol -I think.
Yip your dierctions are spot on.

I don't think it was a fish. EJ jumped up thinking it was a fish and on realising it wasn't, returned to the eggs. Odin hung around and then left. Picture is so bad on the night camera, it is so difficult to see any detail.
Just got in Wattle - very many thanks indeed for the directonal info . Really appreciated that.
But no second fish for EJ then. Oh dear. I find that hard - there was much less wind today. I'll hope for an early breakfast fish the size of a whale then. Goodnight everyone - Lynette Brenda Soosin Wattle
