Hi all: Getting a late start here today. Been busy in the garden all day and now working on getting some of the glue out of the corners of the panes in the French door, so have back to computer.
Previous Weekly Chat's last page included long chatty posts from Lindybird and OG, a link from Djoan to the BOT Barn Owls, which have their first egg, and a colorful greeting from Diane to AQ who's having a birthday. HAPPY BIRTHDAY AQ! :-)
Venice! What a treat, Margobird. You'll be able to tell us all about it afterwards ; - )
Lindybird I am so looking forward to it now. It is our wedding anniversary while we are there and OH is taking me one of the top restaurants as a treat. I love Italian food so know I will enjoy it. The only thing that worries me is all the os[rey catching up I will have to get to grips with when I come back.
Margobird
How romantic, Margobird. You'll have a wonderful anniversary I'm sure. I'll tell the ospreys to just hold on with everything until you come back!!

I am relying on you Lindybird not to miss a thing while I am away. You will have to be housebound for a fw days lol.
Margo, You will love Venice. We went there for our 30th anniversary for a long weekend (4 days) and I wished it had been longer, but our son and daughter had arranged a celebration back home. Don't forget the gondola trip before all that lovely Italian food.
Changeover accomplished very quickly
Brenda I just know I will love Venice, we are going for 5 days but I suspect we will not see everything we want to see. OH says we are going on a gondola trip on the night of our anniversary. We go somewhere in Italy every year as we just love the country. The people, food, the hisotry and of course the weather. Have been to Rome a couple of times and Florence so we are touring the cities slowly but surely. I would love to stay somewhere near Sienna as we only had a day trip, so much we want to do but it is having time to do it.
Getting dark now at LG and LOTL so will log off now as OH will be returning from his Anglo Italian night. Will only have half a day tomorrow as hospital visit in afternoon then OH taking me out for a meal. I am so spoilt by a lovely OH and don't know how I would get on without him. Have a good evening all and good night.
Brenda H, you can arrange a trip to Chichester at the weekend - and you might see me there!
According to the blog, 2 of the peregrine chicks hatched today, I did catch a glimpse but wasn't quick enough to get a screenshot. Will keep watching................
Brilliant news Sue. Thanks. We will be around for a couple of days so will definitely go to see the peregrines.
Just dropped in for a read through - and to say goodnight all! Been tired since the afternoon - something to do with the atmosphere in the hospital I think, but I did get taken to the Coffee Lounge on the way home!
Ospreys Rule OK, but Goldfinches come a close second!
