Evening all: Gary and AQ were watching until about 2 a.m. UK time. I'm late starting! EJ is on the nest with just the barest, faintest, slightest hint of the morning over the hills
Gosh you really forget how incessant her calls are when she's incubating and always on the nest, Phew!!! Will have to get tuned in again to the different calls, - feed me, feed me now. intruder, toilet break etc.
All I ask is the chance to prove that money can't make me happy. Spike Milligan
Gary: Thanks for the video clip, I have not been watching, except for brief visits. What I did think, however is that EJ's behaviour, did not indicate a damaged egg, no close inspecting, or pushing it away. However, we now have a sole male, getting desperate to find a partner, so as someone already said, Odin needs to be close by, in case this happens again. Agree, a male, ring or no ring, not obvious, that's for sure and no antenna, so not a tracked bird either. Will be interesting if staff were able to see much and a new blog will be interesting.

Now she's decided to have a nest titivation but settled again quickly. Still alarm callling - I'm sure it is, not just calling for Odin.

Soosin: I can't tell which call means which - we need subtitles!
LG confirming eggs are fine and intruder was male. It was him on camera tree,
Drama while I've not been watching. Thanks for posts to All, and to Gary for video of their reaction.
Think this is just a more insistent version of EJ's 'feed me' call.
Lets just hope it is a feed me call Lindybird, come on Odin, where are you.
Hi everyone. Thanks for all the updates. I missed all the earlier excitement but thankfully managed to catch the videos. EJ certainly makes a brilliant job of defending the nest. So thanks to all for the various observations, pictures, videos etc. EJ is calling constantly at the moment. I hope it's just for Odin to bring a fish home. Wind sounds quite strong at LG just now.Paul.
Warning! This post contains atrocious spelling, and terrible grammar. Approach with extreme edginess.
I'm a bit confused by the new blog, I am sure it was a male on the clip? Were there two intruders? The second being on the clip,
And another fish for her . The boys doing well today
