well if I hadn't been so lazy on Sunday I could have gone and given us an update. I had hoped to go this weekend instead to maybe see a wee chick arriving but alas a liquid lunch beckons instead. I will however endeavour to be there the following weekend and maybe be able to catch some "out of view" goings on.

I have been watching all morning but have only now for a reply box! Weird. So glad EJ got an early fish. It looks hot there. Will be watching for the next couple of days as I do a quick dash to Edinburgh to visit an elderly relative. Sadly no time to go further north to visit LG. Hope all remains calm there.

Hi Rusty. Glad you got here in the end. This year (touch wood) I am not having as many problems. I just don't log out anymore.

we have got past the the same period of all the intruders last year haven't we. Hopefully when chicks are around we may see less intrusions.  I seem to think (probably wrongly) that most intrusion at nests are where there are eggs rather than chicks??
