Birdie Num Num's brilliant DU summary 2017
Good morning, all! Lovely to see His Gorgeousness in the sunlight, and even better to know he brought a fish for EJ. Well done, Odin:
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
Good morning all.
Birdies LG DU update.
Wonder where Mike is?
Good morning Clare and Mike :)
Yes it really would be nice to get an update, it doesn't matter if they don't have a lot to report, just some form of communication would be good, apart from the video that was posted on RSPB Operation Osprey FB yesterday there hasn't been any posts on it either since 28 April.
I don't want to get into any debate on this subject, because YES we do know how busy they are, I have seen it on many visits how busy it is in the Visitor Centre, but when all said and done this community and ALL who follow it religiously are all part and parcel of the great Loch Garten Osprey set up, and communication should be part of that set up. There are plenty of Visitor Centres throughout the country who have no problem with communication, they are busy too.
Anyway I better shut up before I get banned :-) Better wear a mask when I visit in a few weeks time LOL....
EDIT: Karen its your fault you started me off ROTFL....

Odin turns the eggs and does some sitting nestoration
I totally agree with you Mary.
Sorry Mary but thanks ... you have just summed up exactly my thoughts and NO . I don't want to get into a debate, I just want an update :-)
Like everyone else, I just care about them and can't help but feel a little worried and am wondering how much defending Odin is having to do (ie is it just one intruder) and why EJ left the nest as it is only a few days until hatch.
A change of direction
