One egg laid early and dispensed with, two further eggs being cherished by MrsG and Aran.
It's been a wet April in Wales. Intruders a-plenty, but Aran seems to have forsaken his 'other woman' and is devoted to MrsG and his eggs.
This morning @ about 0935hr - a fish for MrsG:
Delivery with rather weak sound, but it's something ;-)
IMAGICAT
MrsG would dearly have loved to give chase, but she couldn't leave her eggs. The cam must have been unmanned :-(
Thanks Scylla and all
certainly very alert
MrsG intruder alarming again.
Unseen intrusion persists. I thought I could hear distant alarm-calling too. Sound not penetrating the wind very well.
Another episode since the last, but quiet now.
This seemed to be a voiceless intruder response from MrsG:
After rising from her eggs and flapping she made as if to sit again:
But then took off suddenly:
Returned shortly:
Aran has just taken over. Taking his time sitting down.
MrsG is waiting patiently for Aran to get up - which he's just done, and flown, no beating with a stick required ;-)
Another fish for MrsG :-)
16.25 Mrs G is incubating in the sunshine. Aran is not on the perch.
