I think I will start MAY, 2016 quite simply with a current snippet of the LOCH GARTEN NEST with EJ quietly incubating her three eggs.
Unknown said: I am always surprised when it is just bedtime here and I log in for one last look at the nest and find broad daylight
This is Sunrise and Sunset for Boat Of Garten for 21 May 2016. Just 3 minutes short of 17 Hours daylight. Go to accuweather.com for the best statistics.
Whilst having my own breakfast managed to watch a feed at Loch Garten.
Loch of the Lowes Ospreys appeared on TV - BBC Scotland News yesterday evening.
This is how the BBC web site told the news.
SECOND OSPREY CHICK HATCHES AT DUNKELD
Hi, folks. This website is undergoing a cyber attack right now.
I suspect that the site will be locked down shortly, in order for the tech people to deal with the damage.
I thought some of you might see this, and that way you'd know what's going on. It may take some time to fix it. I saw one post that said the attack began at 4:30 a.m. So it may take quite a while to recover.
Everyone have a good weekend!
Feeding time
Hello Diane and all Gabbers! Thanks for the information Diane. If we get shut down soon will see you all when reconnected! Hope they can clean it up soon :(
Interesting picture, I thought. Some of the trees seem to be in a spotlight. EJ is still, apparently sleeping. But not for long.
Nothing is more beautiful than our osprey, but now and then I feel a need for some more color and a clearer, sharper picture than I am getting at LG. Hope you enjoy.
None of these are my pictures and so far as I know they are all copyright free.
If you want color, nothing is more colorful than a peacock in full display. Right?
EJ feeding her adorable bobbleheads. We can tell how much Chick #1 has grown by comparing him with Chick #2. I feel ill at ease calling him Chick#2 when he is almost certainly egg #3.
