It's hard to tell whether Glesni is asleep or just laying quietly:
To say the least April was an interesting month on the Dyfi. What does May have in store for Monty, Glesni, Blue 24 and Dai Dot? I look forward to the story continuing,......
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
He has flown.

Glesni pushed Monty off her chick and has now taken over.
HI, Brenda. I love it when Monty does his utmost to get close to his chicks!
Hi Clare. He can be over eager sometimes, though. LOL

I do sometimes wonder if it's the events of 2012 which have led to his being so determined to feed the chicks? He must have been gutted to see two (nearly all three) of his chicks die.
Monty arrived on the nest with the fish. Glesni is now eating while Monty......you guessed it, he's incubating!
She has flown, without the fish. Monty, get feeding!
Isn't it amazing that Monty (and Blue 33?) enjoy brooding the chick(s). I don't think I have ever seen Odin do it, although yesterday he almost fed a chick, but EJ returned and snuffled the fish from him.

She's back and moving Monty off the eggs and chick.
