A new month and lots to look forward to as we eagerly await these precious eggs which Maya and Blue 33(11) have devotedly protected, hatch!
For anyone new and just starting to watch the Rutland Manton Bay Webcam, here is a brief summary of the 2016 season so far:
The resident female, Maya returned 21 March. Her mate Blue 33(11) returned 27 March. Maya has laid three eggs, #1 on 4 April, #2 on 7 April and #3 on 10 April. Maya and 33(11) are currently sharing incubating duties and we should see a hatch around the second week in May.
Happy viewing
Chicks huddled up in front of Maya. Water is very choppy with a strong wind coming from the East.
Birdies LG DU update.
Good Morning again Mike, I am following you around :-)

33 has gone
Morning all, thanks for all the updates.
Just now I think it is Maya standing guard. Chick on the right has been throwing its weight around.

Morning all, so funny to watch them.
33 has just arrived with a fish and maya now feeding the chicks
33 has flown, Maya blocking the view as she feeds however cam zoomed in on feed.
09:29 better view - chick on the right seems to be getting the lion's share
09:32 Maya has moved round, middle chick now getting some
09:52 Fish finished. Maya blocked most of the feed but #3 was at her feet and I'm sure it would have got some fish too.
Maya now cleaning up and chicks are all huddled together quite content.
2 chicks asleep and Maya standing on the edge and the 3rd chick wobbled across to shelter under her as I think s/he was feeling warm
From the shadow it lookslike 33 is on the cam post
