A new month and lots to look forward to as we eagerly await these precious eggs which Maya and Blue 33(11) have devotedly protected, hatch!
For anyone new and just starting to watch the Rutland Manton Bay Webcam, here is a brief summary of the 2016 season so far:
The resident female, Maya returned 21 March. Her mate Blue 33(11) returned 27 March. Maya has laid three eggs, #1 on 4 April, #2 on 7 April and #3 on 10 April. Maya and 33(11) are currently sharing incubating duties and we should see a hatch around the second week in May.
Happy viewing
Maya just threw out a bit of eggshell

Birdies LG DU update.
Karen I zoomed in on your earlier one and there is no doubt.
Great news to start the day
33 has arrived and is standing beside Maya ... I think he wants her up but she is sitting tight.
33 has now flown while Maya has a little wiggle and cradling her jewels which we can't see as she's blocking the view.
We have been expecting two hatchings close together :)
