A new month and lots to look forward to as we eagerly await these precious eggs which Maya and Blue 33(11) have devotedly protected, hatch!
For anyone new and just starting to watch the Rutland Manton Bay Webcam, here is a brief summary of the 2016 season so far:
The resident female, Maya returned 21 March. Her mate Blue 33(11) returned 27 March. Maya has laid three eggs, #1 on 4 April, #2 on 7 April and #3 on 10 April. Maya and 33(11) are currently sharing incubating duties and we should see a hatch around the second week in May.
Happy viewing
What is the betting that we might have two chicks tomorrow?

Good Morning Everyone
Thank You ALL for your posts and nest observations from yesterday.
The scene at the moment is that Maya is incubating, is today going to be the day LOL.... One thing for sure is that the hatch will happen when it happens, even although we are all waiting with anticipation, it won't make any difference.

Good Morning Mary and all who arrive :-)
Yes it will happen when it happens :-) But one good thing is the later #1 hatches then the lesser the gap :-)
But as Tiger has mentioned could we see two hatches today :-D
You never know Karen, anything can happen with Ospreys as we all know :-)
