A new month and lots to look forward to as we eagerly await these precious eggs which Maya and Blue 33(11) have devotedly protected, hatch!
For anyone new and just starting to watch the Rutland Manton Bay Webcam, here is a brief summary of the 2016 season so far:
The resident female, Maya returned 21 March. Her mate Blue 33(11) returned 27 March. Maya has laid three eggs, #1 on 4 April, #2 on 7 April and #3 on 10 April. Maya and 33(11) are currently sharing incubating duties and we should see a hatch around the second week in May.
Happy viewing
Good Morning ALL
A beautiful sunrise at MB this morning, will today be the day we see our first little bobblehead.

It is also the day for Kayleigh's sky dive so I hope the weather allows that.
Birdies LG DU update.
Yes I hope the sky dive goes ahead, shame if it has to be cancelled because of the weather.
An intruder just buzzed the nest, can't see if its Maya or 33 sitting, but they got up to defend then settled back down again. Didn't get a capture
While we wait on something happening, here is a FAB PHOTO of 33(11) at River Gwash.
Great photo Mary.
Morning Mary and Mike
Bit drier on the nest this morning
Good Morning all and at last ... a sunrise. Thank you Mary :-)
Also for the photo of 33 and likewise Mike, I hope all goes well with Kayleigh;s skydive.
Hopefully we see a hatch today ..

Hi Kate and Karen
Yes it looks a much better day for a hatch today, I was watching earlier and was willing Maya to get up off the eggs to see if anything had happened :-)
