A new month and lots to look forward to as we eagerly await these precious eggs which Maya and Blue 33(11) have devotedly protected, hatch!
For anyone new and just starting to watch the Rutland Manton Bay Webcam, here is a brief summary of the 2016 season so far:
The resident female, Maya returned 21 March. Her mate Blue 33(11) returned 27 March. Maya has laid three eggs, #1 on 4 April, #2 on 7 April and #3 on 10 April. Maya and 33(11) are currently sharing incubating duties and we should see a hatch around the second week in May.
Happy viewing

Hi Mary. Yes not good here.
Birdies LG DU update.
Morning Mike - yes its just as well the chicks are the age they are, but it will be harder for 33 to fish, although he can always go to River Gwash :-)
Yes I'm anxious to see some activity there as the weather down here has been very wet, windy and cold for the last 24 hours. Their age will help but Maya has her work cut out sheltering them.
AS I checked back my wish was granted! Maya is feeding and all three look good.
Maya is feeding the GEM's now. Snap Mike :-)
Camera still very misty but enough of a view to see activity from all three and to confirm feeding. Yesss!
