A new month and lots to look forward to as we eagerly await these precious eggs which Maya and Blue 33(11) have devotedly protected, hatch!
For anyone new and just starting to watch the Rutland Manton Bay Webcam, here is a brief summary of the 2016 season so far:
The resident female, Maya returned 21 March. Her mate Blue 33(11) returned 27 March. Maya has laid three eggs, #1 on 4 April, #2 on 7 April and #3 on 10 April. Maya and 33(11) are currently sharing incubating duties and we should see a hatch around the second week in May.
Happy viewing
Hi Noc .. great to see the site back up so quick:-)
#3 looks to be doing fine this feed and I must go and see to some food here SYL
Jane, I think little 3 is the one on the right, as it's smaller than the other two.

Now it is the only one facing the right direction. :-)
Thank you NOC, it seems to have had a good feed this time. I think they must have been sitting on the "missing" one :)
Yes, the picture was confusing as one of them was fast asleep under the other two! :-)
Camera is very glary but there is a large fish on the nest so there appears to have been an early morning delivery. Maya is shuffling over the chicks so they may have just finished a feed?
Birdies LG DU update.
Feed now in progress. All three in a line.
