A new month and lots to look forward to as we eagerly await these precious eggs which Maya and Blue 33(11) have devotedly protected, hatch!
For anyone new and just starting to watch the Rutland Manton Bay Webcam, here is a brief summary of the 2016 season so far:
The resident female, Maya returned 21 March. Her mate Blue 33(11) returned 27 March. Maya has laid three eggs, #1 on 4 April, #2 on 7 April and #3 on 10 April. Maya and 33(11) are currently sharing incubating duties and we should see a hatch around the second week in May.

Last view of the eggs (for me for tonight). Will tomorrow be the day? We'll see! Good night!
Maya is not sleeping...
Maya is agitated. She keeps getting up and turning the eggs.

Good Morning Everyone
Is today the day then, and how much longer can I say that every morning. LOL
Have two sunrise photos, took one snip and then got side tracked when Odin arrived on the nest and forgot to post. :-)

Good morning Mary
Morning Noc, again :-)
No change from those snips earlier, apart from there is no sunrise now :-)
33 Brought a fish in, Maya got up and took the fish, but then flapped a few times, left the fish and went back to settle on the eggs. Obviously she does not want to leave them so maybe a hatch immanent
Good Morning MARY
