Yesterday the only possible fish delivery must have taken place in a nanosecond! There must have been one, as EJ didn't complain after that instant changeover.
Tonight EJ has been very restul, with lots of tucked-in sleep until she had a short flyaround just before 0400:
Since then she has remained alert:
IMAGICAT
EJ is calling for fish again.
Birdie Num Num's brilliant DU summary 2017
She's calling again.
Odin lands without fish. EJ is nagging him.
Odin's back:
I don't think a tidier nest is what she's after, Odin:
He has morphed off:
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
He's flown.
Poor EJ calling for some food, come on lad go and get her a lovely big fish, and don't be bothering tidying the nest! Looks like a lovely day there now, hope it stays that way.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
Wouldn't it be wonderful if we could all morph from one place to another, effortlessly? Losing birds on migration would be a thing of the past, and we could all visit the osprey nest of our choice on a minute's notice!
That would be lovely Clare, with not a care in the world!
We'd all save a fortune on fuel as well.
EJ's looking up. I wonder what/who she is watching.
