As I'm not usually up this late, I'll take the honour of starting the thread.
Snow, beautiful snap by Scyllaan unringed intruder vid by Scylla
and a BIG WHOLE fish (my pics) were yesterday's highlights.
Lets hope for an intruder free day, better weather and lots of fish :)
Birdie Num Num's brilliant DU summary 2017
10.43 EJ has taken off for a comfort break. Odin arrives with a gentle tweet and takes over incubation. The feather is blowing on the nest!

Belatedly, the FISH DELIVERY. It's worth watching, even tho you've seen it already thru the snaps - just for the sound of the calm, polite handover, far removed from when EJ has beaks to feed.
IMAGICAT
EJ's back with sweet tweets and a something brown underfoot. she faffs with some nest materialOdin gets up in the end and leaves.
10.53 EJ returns with her lovely contact chirrups. Odin stays put, EJ moves a stick and presumably hits Odin so he starts to move.
and EJ takes over incubation
Odin flies off
The wind has got up. Keep an eye on the licheny stick which annoyed EJ y'day, but is now on the edge of the nest at 3-4 o'clock. The wind keeps getting under it, and I can imagine EJ being bonked on the beak!
EJ has been looking rather alert of late, looking around with her sharp eyes, looking very intent.
EJ called, and got up to stand on the rim, she had a preen, but looked towards camtree. Wings stretched with the wind under them, and then she steps gently back down into the cup and resumes incubation.
Steely eyed EJ
A chirrup or two as EJ checked and turned her eggs.
Noddy dog EJ ;)
EJ is calling. She can't be hungry, just chatting?
