Evening all: Gary and AQ have been reporting on rain and a snoozy EJ at LG, where it sounds wet! Poor EJ has just raised her head - she looks quite flattened by all that rain. :-(

Well captured DjoanS. Odin now on nest duty I believe.
Marvellous Odin, must be much easier to catch them today. He is now doing his favourite task bless him.

I find very heart warming the way that these ospreys softly chirp to the eggs when coming to sit on them, but I am a big softy :)
DjoanS, seems like we snapped the exact same moment, LOL

Not just you who is a softhy, I tthink we all are where EJ and Odin are concerned. The interaction between EJ, Odin and the eggs is very touching.
Have been busy in the garden, so many thanks to all who have posted, incl. wonderful pics of our intrepid pair.
It is certainly a contrast up at LG from yesterday, when everyone and everything was wet through.
Yes auntie - great minds and all that :)) I love the way EJ and Odin 'chat' to each other and the eggs when they hand over.
Just back home to see the good news. Thankyou for news and pictures.
5:24 pm. EJ swoops in to the nest. A quick chat with Odin and she settles on her precious eggs.
Another good break for EJ. 4.07 - 5.24pm. She is already softly twittering. Maybe she is talking to the eggs. The ' egg cup' seems to be getting deeper. The chicks will need a ladder when they hatch.
