As Birdie Num Num has reported, Odin and EJ managed 15 matings, leading some to speculate that all this frenzy can only mean eggs must be imminent. Even possibly tomorrow. However, as of now, the nest is empty, even as a possibly eggy EJ is roosting somewhere close by.
A lovely shot by RSPB yesterday of our loving couple in their Love Tree. :-*Thank you to BNN for her invaluable Daily Summaries.

Good morning, all. Intruder alert:
Now there's a surprise:
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
Morning all. Thank you CC for starting the day and to Scylla, Mary and crew for the earlier posts.
EJ has just flown after trying to spread Odin's bale of hay
Birdie Num Num's brilliant DU summary 2017
She has flown:
Hi, Moffer - how's the foot?
I can't resist. Our pair on the nest just now
and a fumbled mating that turned into a sit down
Hi Clare, I'd show you a pic, but it ain't pretty. Bit sore today too :(
Goodness morning all. I like the clump of hay. Very cosy for the imminent (?) eggs.
How long did they say it would take to heal?
Morning everyone
EJ tends to lay eggs about 12 days after Odin arrives. Now Odin arrived on 27 March so Odin has been here 11 days. So I guess there may be eggs tomorrow.
