Well, they're home - EJ and, yes, Odin, after some conjecture and hats being threatened with devourment ;-D
All is not yet 100% satisfactory - the mating is now up to speed but fish provision is below parr... sorry, par. For the past two days the good fish that Odin has delivered have mysteriously been unclaimed by EJ. Maybe she's feeding herself but there's no evidence of that.
LMAC has warned us of wet and windy conditions approaching and the wind started up a little while ago, sounds wicked!
Another nice nightnest tonight, maybe my email wasn't in vain after all.

EJ stands silently on the nest.

Catching up ... thanks everyone for all the updates and lovely captures.
EJ was calling loudly, but now she is quiet, standing in the wind.
Not an easy fishing day today for Odin.
Sticks are flying in the wind. EJ is doing her best to keep it straight.
A vid would do it more justice.
Looks like Odin can't manage his stick ;-D

That's really a brilliant capture, CLARE, because they spent 5 loveydovey minutes like that but only the odd split second with his face facing hers, almost ;-)
These brown feathers momentarily became detached from where they should blend into the tail :-/
EJ is still standing quietly on the nest. The wind may have died down a bit too.

A brief call, but she is still alone, and I can hear the wind again!
EJ's brief calls have become a little louder and more persistent
