Good morning to all on the last day of March. Thanks to BNN, I have a lovely summary to review in addition to my occasional peek-in during the day. While Odin did a lot of mating it was observed that the paucity of fish was crowned today by the appearance of a whopper clutched in his talons --- NOT given to EJ until he had only a fishtail left! Of course this was all documented by a perfect video showing the fish, a shot of his crop and video of the meager fishtail left for EJ.
Here is the nest tonight, minus the large stick Odin brought and EJ tipped over the edge, hee hee!.

I would have thanked you sooner, dear CC, but I followed some of your links and you know how one thing leads to another ;-)
Yesterday I had a reply from Jess to an email about the nightcam that I sent her on the 14th :o She said that the same person sets it every night :o
Oh! and she seemed to misunderstand me too, as she said "yes, the cam is pretty good this year" ;-D
IMAGICAT
Thanks for that great intro CC.
Good Morning Scylla if you are still around.
Empty nests all round. What will be in store for us today :-)
EJ's Memorial Balgavies Loch Ospreys 2023
Someone just flew on to the nest, but it is too dark to see who, all I can see is tail feathers.
They have gone in a pixilated blur :-)
It was Odin, on the nest for just under 3 minutes while my back was turned!
Getting lighter:
Scylla your images are a LOT better than what I am seeing on Carnyx, a lot of buffering's and pixilation.
Mine is the Carnyx web page in IE.
Odin is back nestorising, I'll just have a look what he's been up to...
Odin came back and he seemed intent on something in the corner.
Day cam approx. 06.25
EJ was on nest in this lovely light, but my snipping tool started to do the "not responding" bit so I missed it.
Don't forget, MARY, I take my snaps (almost always) off the recording (WOW... Got such a shock at the daycam that I hit the Pause on the recorder so I've lost his departure!!!)
Deserves a frame but matching colours is hellishly difficult. This is EJ:
... because, as you have seen, I don't have the presence of mind to take live snaps !!!
This was before daycam (obviously ;-D )
Lol, a toy Odin on EJ's back ;-D
What I was saying was, I take snaps off the recording so I can dodge the blurs and pixels, most of the time.
It is good you can do that Scylla, I am not that techie minded :-)
I wish EJ would come back and pose for us on the nest, because the light is extraordinary!
