Only 5 pages for yesterday's DU - says it all. EJ spent much of the morning waiting on the nest, but the rest of the day she was nowhere to be seen...
... nor heard, as we had no sound for the second day running.
The forum is playing up a bit so I can't check who I stole this lovely photo of a hopeful EJ from, I expect it was MOFFER:
Odin is not late, not by anyone's standards, let alone his - but our ospreys, like other birds and other signs of spring, are early this year, so haste ye home, dear Odin the Magnificent.
Here's hoping that the predicted snow fails to show up.

Is she off?
No.
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
She has flown.
Back again:
EJ has flown.
Birdie Num Num's brilliant DU summary 2017
She's back:
Hi, Birdie!
Good morning all. A lovely day up at LG: sunny and blowy, and EJ looking in fine form as she moves 'stuff' around the nest. I have a rather irritating hum, and the cam is stuttering for me too.

Good morning, Sheila. It's a nicer day than I was expecting!
Morning Birdie and Sheila. Cam's the same for all of us. No sound since Friday morning :(
EJ looks ready for Odin now. Nest cup just right. Well fed and needing to produce eggs. The instinct must be so strong, to fly all that way, and then to wait and wait.
Good morning Clare, Moffer and Birdie. Isn't it lovely to see her once more. I see that Blue 24 had take up with Dai Dot: at least we sadly do not have to worry about Blue XD this year.
