Welcome to day four of the 2016 season at LG. Yesterday saw another one of EJ's giants. Honestly some of these fish are so big that the sun rises on one side and simultaneously sets on the other. Still she continues to wait for the arrival of Odin The Magnificent. Will he join the list of early arrivals that we've saw so far this season?
Well here's hoping that today will be a great day. Web cam still showing the branch, and from what I can see it doesn't look too bad weather at LG just now.
Warning! This post contains atrocious spelling, and terrible grammar. Approach with extreme edginess.
EJ is still on and off the nest, and she just landed which several... I'd say these were more chirps than pipes ;-}
IMAGICAT
Whatever next? As I've been listening to EJ's lovely chirps a spider casually descended to the desk, made its way across the keyboard and is now having a good explore.
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
I'm sure we haven't missed an Odin arrival - if he was about we'd have heard the sounds of rampant mating by now.
A couple of EJ's chirps {I cut out waiting time between them} - almost a single alarm-chirp in them each time, but not continued:
She's on the campost, or has just left it.
The Jay is back on the branch.
Can I hear a lower tone of chirping along with EJ's higher-pitched ones?
By the way there's a lovely male chaffinch on the branch:
Short alarm chirp from EJ?
So what was that all about?
She's flying now, and she sounds less than happy.
