I think that as Foulshaw Moss has such a good webcam, it would be better to have its own Thread. I hope others don't mind.
The webcam is up and running now.
The male, identified by his 'White YW' leg ring, hatched at Bassenthwaite in 2008. The female, identified by her 'Blue 35' leg ring, hatched at Kielder in 2010. Their three youngsters born in spring 2015 can be identified by their blue leg rings: V2 and V3 appear to be female, and little V4 (the last chick born) a boy.

I've been trying to follow their progress via Twitter, as I've been away for 2wks and had no access to the webcam. All looks good, does anyone know if they have been ringed yet?
I cannot say I have noticed any updates about the chicks being ringed JaneV.
It is looking rather misty there this morning. Both chicks preening.
Thanks MaryGK, I've sent them a tweet.
Chicks home alone, probably 35 somewhere close, as one chick keeps looking up.
I would imagine that the chicks should be ringed within the next few days Jane V.
Nice shot of White YW, he flew off just after I took this snip.
Morning MaryGK, thank you. They said it would happen once they were over 5 weeks.
23rd and 25th May were hatching dates, so probably next week some time then for the ringing.
YW was on the nest doing a bit of housework, then eventually flew off again. I haven't seen 35 these last two mornings, will have to try and remember to look in during the day to see her.
Looking good there Mary.
Birdies LG DU update.
Yes this is a nice cam to watch Mike.
I must say the quality is very good.
