The purpose of this thread is to record observations, activity and captures of Rutland’s Manton Bay nest throughout the season.
The nest at Manton Bay has been in use since 2007 and its history can be found here.
I am sure I speak for us all in wishing Maya and Blue 33(11) a safe journey home and for another successful season at Manton Bay.
Maya is alone

Good to see you Patily :-)
Exciting to think we will soon be seeing eggs. Last season 33 just loved incubating duties and I'd say he did far more than Maya. I wonder if it will be the same again this season.
Good Morning everyone, thanks for all the captures and posts yesterday.
An empty nest at Rutland and has been for the last 30 mins when I have looked. I cannot resist posting the lovely sunrise though.

This pair are a joy to watch. :-)
I wondered how long it would be before we had a "Mary's Manton Bay sunrise"!
Birdies LG DU update.
LOL Mike, cannot resist a sunrise. Beautiful light on the nest as 33 does a bit of nest scraping.
