The purpose of this thread is to record observations, activity and captures of Rutland’s Manton Bay nest throughout the season.
The nest at Manton Bay has been in use since 2007 and its history can be found here.
I am sure I speak for us all in wishing Maya and Blue 33(11) a safe journey home and for another successful season at Manton Bay.
Intruder around again and Maya takes off giving chase so suspect this could very well be 25(10) again. Hopefully her mate will return soon!
Cams playing up :-(
Hi Mary .. yes! Gets a bit hectic at this time as we like to watch all the nests waiting on them coming back:-)
Cams back up and 33 remains on the nest.

Interestingly the intruder that has been around a couple of times today is an unidentified osprey - or a UFO as I always say :-)
