The purpose of this thread is to record observations, activity and captures of Rutland’s Manton Bay nest throughout the season.
The nest at Manton Bay has been in use since 2007 and its history can be found here.
I am sure I speak for us all in wishing Maya and Blue 33(11) a safe journey home and for another successful season at Manton Bay.
Morning all, thanks for the updates and captures which were not what I expected to see LOL Those EGs are quite persistent !.
I wonder where Maya is?
Looks like it is going to be another lovely day so hopefully we'll see 33(11) and some other arrive back today.

Persistence?
Another arrives LOL
Edit: 08:38 They only stayed a few minutes then flew off.
Perhaps Maya is around?
The EG returned but soon flew off the nest and was chased down the bay by Maya who returned and has just landed on the nest
Looks like Maya is going to have a time of it chasing the EGs!
Cam zooming in just now - getting some nice shots
Maya is currently checking out the framework of the nest :-) It is a good thing that all the sticks are tied in securing the nest but on the other hand It must be a little frustrating for her as she can't move any of the sticks to her liking.
Trust you to catch the zooms, KAREN <3 I can't keep the stream going at all. However, some pieces of luck, if you like non-osprey action:

Slomo - I hope - vid:
Did manage to get a short clip of her - crops, not zooms:
Couldn't get anywhere with this stick, but didn't give it a lot of welly:
