HAPPY NEW WEEK!
Last week's Chat thread is here.
I hope everyone has a wonderful week!
Hi all, see we are already up to the 3rd page. Thanks for all your news. AQ you are doing a sterling job as Nanny to the twins and Little Miss. Hope you managed to get your rest in!!!
Lindybird - love the two pics you posted - so cute.
Diane - nobody minds who starts us off, I'm sure. Thanks for your news and for Annettes. Also the rest of you.
Dau. has gone down to a friends in Stevenage for a couple of days as its half-term so we are on our own.
Been a wee bit colder the last few days but no snow yet here. Off to the gym tomorrow and then chairing our Womens Own meeting in the afternoon as our usual chair is off to Australia tomorrow. Friend is visiting her son who lives in Uki but is first spending time at The Beach Resort, Cabarita Bay. Her son's family will be joining them for the weekend. She then goes down to Byron Bay for a few days before returning to Uki to her son's for the final week. Don't know what the temperature is there at present.

OG - Aren't you good doing your gardening. We must get out soon and do some tidying up and the lawns - well, they need a cut but it is a bit too soon yet.
Just looked in at the Dunedin nest and couldn't resist - not long now
I know we are not the osprey chat thread but forgive me its not too far away now for the start of this years season.
Not too early to start getting excited, Lynette!!
Lynette: In spite of the thread's title, exciting osprey news is welcome!
Lindybird: Lightning seems better, thank you.
Plumber called to say he'll be one hour late....is now three minutes overdue.
Good Morning, All. A very frosty start on a very cold morning, here. Some parts of Scotland had -7 last night, so good job there are no ospreys here yet.
Hope that by now Annette's plumber has arrived and fixed the sink.
Good Morning Everyone. A white, frosty morning here. Very picturesque with the sun shining.
A long day at the hospital yesterday. Result is that they are going to use a new, laser treatment on OH's left eye, if that works they will repeat on his right eye, which had the graft. If the laser treatment doesn't work it will mean a risky operation on both eyes.
I do hope Annette's and Heather's plumbing problems are solved.
Thinking of you today, Margo.
We have some sunshine here, too. But when I go out shortly I will have to wrap up well...
Brenda - Was wondering if you had had a long day. How worrying for you both. When will they be able to do the laser treatment? Is it being treated as an urgent case? {BIG HUGS}
Morning all
BRENDA I'm sorry to read that your OH continues to have problems. Fingers crossed that the laser treatment works x
LYNETTE- I was going to ask after your daughter, it popped into my head after I had posted yesterday.
I'd better get going, need to visit the bank and do a little shopping. OH is helping the Probus Club treasurer with the annual accounts, here, tomorrow and I need to give them something with their coffee. After all the visitors last week the cupboard is just about bare.
Thinking about MARGO today x
