Thanks Roberto. Great news.
Good Morning Roberto
So glad you had a great visit to Balgavies, I am booked to spend a week up there myself and so looking forward to it. I hope you had a good journey home, and if you have any photos to share please post them here, I would love to see them :-)
Thank you Mary, I really enjoyed my trip to Balgavies and to other reserves, watching ospreys and other wildlife. Took some 23,000 photos (most will reveal to be duplicates or blurred, don't be misled by the number) and reviewing them will take me busy for many coming nights :-)
I trust you will enjoy your holiday too, meanwhile here are some pictures picked from the set taken at Balgavies.

Male bringing a stick to the nest
Divebombing cormorants perched on the nest tree

... and HAVING FUN !!!
Great photos Roberto. Thank you.
Birdies LG DU update.
Thank You Roberto for posting your fantastic photos, they are all brilliant, especially the dive bombing one. I know when I visit my little Bridge Camera is not going to do these lovely Ospreys justice, but we are blessed with your photos and the ones posted on their Facebook Page, to have such great close up views of this pair.
I am hoping they have a successful season here.
Good morning Mary.
Sorry Mike just been trawling through the threads and webcams and found this. Good Morning to you too LOL....
Thank you all and happy that you appreciated pictures. Main contributors were the ospreys and inhabitants/roosters populating the small island where the nest is, there's always opportunity for birds to start a new scrambling mission.
Yes it is very handy when the Ospreys cooperate for those who visit Roberto :-) What amazed me was the cormorants sitting in the same tree's as the nest.
Lets hope the Ospreys cooperate for me too when I go LOL...
LATEST NEWS FROM BALGAVIES LOCH. Blue YD was sighted and photographed visiting his natal home. I was there every day last week so why couldn't he have come home then LOL....
