HAPPY NEW WEEK!
Last week's chat thread is here.
I saw R. T. Hawk on Thursday. It's been so cold here that I had to put the battery charger on my car for a long while. I went out as the sun was setting to remove it. R. T. screeched at me when I went out the front door. When I closed the car bonnet/hood, he screamed at me loudly and flew around his tree. I think he was telling me off for disturbing him when it was time to roost in his tree. He called more gently when I went indoors. :-)))
Everyone have a wonderful week. Roll on spring!!!

Sorry typo and holiday to Lundy on my brain Lindy ....
You can edit your posts, Wendy, by clicking on "edit".
But you can call me anything you like, I answer to most things!!
--- I've never been to Lundy....come to think of it.....
Friend came round this afternoon to eat grapes with me, and we had a cup of tea too, and watched the film DVD of "Paddington" which I was given as a birthday present last summer, and hadn't got around to yet.
We laughed a lot, right from the start: it was a lot of fun, and had many famous faces in it, some of whom were only featured fleetingly. Can recommend if you like the Paddington books.
I know I can edit... But even a slip of the finger it made me chuckle..
A place of tranquility ..
Sorry, Wendy, didn't know if you knew. Lundy sounds wonderful. My OH and I like places where it's peaceful. Years ago, someone told me that some of the Canary Islands were boring as "there's nothing there!". We were immediately attracted, as we love lots of Nothing, and have been going there, off & on, ever since. And quite often, doing Nothing, just reading and sitting watching the waves on the rocks.
Lindybird its remote but not if you see what I mean.
Been going on and off for over 40 years.
Also a marmite place ...
Have just read something apt:
"If they don't have chocolate in heaven, I'm not going" -- Roseanne Barr.
I wasn't going anyway !!!
Evening all: Busy day; will topple into bed soon.
Diane: Thanks for explaining Nor'easters. This one looks like a doozy.
Heather: Good to know your nights are finally itch-free. You are not alone in your opinion of the current Republican front runner and admirer. Yuk.
Clare: I think the last real hat I wore was part of my school uniform.
Friday already! How does this keep happening!?
