Thanks KAREN Fantastic news
A couple of days ago I went to see if I could see the Esthwaite ospreys, not having seen any there last year, on 3 visits. However, this year there is a pair on the platform, though that nest failed two years ago and was vacant last year. Anyway I did see them, one was on the eggs and the other did some chasing of another osprey. So I'll go again! It is a public nest, the chap with the fishing business there advertises them, though whether that is a good idea I am not sure.
