Fantastic news - thanks Alan.
Lovelynews
Lovely news about another Scottish returnee. Hopefully one day we might spot a LG ringed osprey out there somewhere
Here are a couple of snaps from Saturday. First one you would never know there was an Osprey there, no other birds only the chatter from kids having a kayak lesson nearby. The second was from the church steps and you can just see the females head, or at least I assume her rather than him. I will go back in a week or so when I am next in that direction as another person told me they had been putting on a beautiful flight show on the Friday. I will report back then.
Thanks for the link, Alan. Love the bit at the bottom of the Tweed Valley blog about the Oystercatcher laying three eggs on the gravel in their car park!
Lmac, That Osprey nest looks far too heavy for that branch to support it! Hope it does not collapse.
Kind regards, Ann

Thanks Karen, what a wonderful blog to read, so happy that Green J has found a new mate and is incubating.

Karen, Thanks so much for the heads up regarding Roy Dennis's blog! Great news that Green J, Red 8T and Morven are all settled on nests and have partners and eggs! Green J looks like she may be giving Lady competition for the oldest Osprey title.
Thank you Karen. Great news.
Birdies LG DU update.
