Lots of action at Dunedin today
Webcam
I emailed Caerlavorock reply below:
Hopefully we will have a webcam set up this year, no sign of the birds yet, I will keep you posted.

Great news! White YC was reported missing last year while there were eggs in the nest. I wonder where he went that summer...?
I did not realise there was a viewing place for the Roudsea nest, so will have to get over there this season.
Hopefully Caerlaverock will have a better year this season Karen.
Aberfoyle have replied on their streaming page that they are having some issues with their streaming, so it is good to know that.

Unknown said: surely the fact Sean Bean is to become a presenter is another:-))Is he really? Hmmm, I could easily see myself watching it a lot more. Phwoooarrrrr.
I think that was information released on 1st April, together with the Carnivorous Bluebells that are causing the decline in Butterfly numbers!!!!!
What an enormous pity - I suspect the viewing figures would skyrocket if someone like him presented it. It wasn't nearly as obvious a gag as the imaginative carnivorous bluebells!! What brilliantly twisted mind thought up that? Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.

Clare, No, it wasn't obvious and expect it may have caught a few out!
Latest from Osprey Safari at Esthwaite Water
"More News!
I can now confirm KY and his mate safely arrived back at the nest site over the weekend!
There's certainly one bird back at the other nest site and a lone Osprey has begun putting branches on to the platform on the edge of the lake!
More fine detail will appear on here very soon and as the information comes in!
Watch this space folks!"
Tweed Valley - bird at the nest just now

You were lucky to catch this Karen. Was the bird there long?
Mary - I checked the nest on and off for about half an hour and it remained just sitting there with its back to me. Bit annoying as I wanted it to turn or move to another branch so I could see if its ringed. I've a feeling it is one of the resident. One to check on today!
I did get an email from Diane yesterday, saying White SS not back yet but Ospreys had been seen in and around the nest.
Of course that is not to say that White SS hasn't turned up since she wrote that email. Fingers crossed it is him.
