Sandra I'm sure you will enjoy the walk and the whole experience.
Birdies LG DU update.
Thanks, Karen. Can you or someone please remind me who 06(09) is--parents, any partner, etc.?
Sandra, I look forward to anything you can share with us after your walk.
Kind regards, Ann

Much of the data is here. The answer is that the mother was a Scottish bird (Argyle) and the Father was 06(00). Nest was at site O
In 2011 seen at Rutland and in 2014 bred with 00(09)
The link I posted is accessible by using Tiger's links which are listed in his and many others 'signatures'
SueC's ringing data is in Chloe and Tigers' Osprey data.
Mike and Vespa, Many thanks for your replies. I hope he has many more youngsters!

Yes this is the point I was going to make but I see you already made it. Of course his offspring will carry 03 (97) genes.
So if 03 (97) had met with an accident back in 1997 one shudders to think what would happen to Rutland Translocation.
I have never tried to do the analysis but the genes of 05 (00) must be in an awful lot of Rutland ospreys too.
We could really do with a family tree! Has one ever been drawn up?
