Interesting history!!! Looking forward to further reports.
Thanks, Keith--good luck in seeing White 14 in March. Presumably he will migrate earlier than last year, but fingers crossed that he waits until you have seen him and does not scarper off elsewhere on holiday while you are there!
June, Sorry you have had a bug and glad to hear you are on the mend. I love the Highland Cow!
Kind regards, Ann
Good evening all. June Im glad you are feeling better :) Love the pic of the Highland cow they are so beautiful and wooly. Seems to be working ok!
Keith I really hope you will be lucky enough to see White 14. The island of Bioko seems to suit him well hope hell stay in one place long enough for you to catch up with him :)
Second Egg at Dunedin.
Tried to "like" some posts but got the error occurred! Allowed me to in the end! Temperamental!
A very frosty clear night with a full moon. Saw the moonlihgt shining on the river lined by willows and it looked so beautiful, wanted to stop my car but unfortunately was on my way to work :(
Thanks for the Dunedin news Keith. So nice to have an early start before our own season gets going.
Beautiful full moon here last night, too. Moonlight on the back yard looked "like new-fallen snow" so I knew the moon was out there somewhere. But I had to step outside to find it and I did find a beautiful full moon directly in front of me just high enough in the sky to be hidden by the roof overhang from inside. But it was so COLD out there that it didn't take me very long to look at that moon. :) .Not long enough to see it well, I'm afraid.
JUNE - It was The Snow Moon.
Keith, you'll have to tell me more. It might be a joke, but with you I never know. I remember someone (Karen, I think)talking about each moon having a special designation and story. SO???
