LOOKING FORWARD TO 2016 BRINGING US A FULL NEST AT LOCH GARTEN WITH EJ AND ODIN AT THE HELM.
But then, maybe you'd rather stick to osprey.
Good afternoon all. Another blustery day here but nothing like what is happening in Scotland :( I wish Id done the bird count today as the garden was quite busy this morning!
June the sun looks lovely shining through the purple glass, very imaginative :)
With floods, high winds and power outages plaguing Scotland, I pray that all our Gabbers osprey followers are safe, warm and dry.
I tried he Dunedin cam once again on Chrome and look what I got! If it will just continue for me.
Keith, Thanks for pointing us in the direction of Sumburgh Head Cliff cam. I finally went on search for it and found it quite readily. 2pm here = 7pm there = nighttime on cam. I saw a lot of lights which I didn't understand. Some I think were manmade and some natural stars, etc. I'll keep going back and eventually sort it all out. Also will find the place and lighthouse on streetwalk.
I am wandering somewhere in the vicinity of Sumburgh Head Cliff and I love it. The stone fences, green fields dotted with sheep and the ocean. I have found and am approaching the lighthouse. On the day these images were made the sky is so very dark and stormy, yet somewhere the sun is shining brightly as we can see it reflected o the grass & fence..
I feel certain that these points have endured and survived many storms such as the one Keith pictured for us. Just as have my beloved Outer Banks. In other ways too this place reminds me of them, although they are also very different
Good evening all. Love your lighthouse photo. will try and post some pics but not sure if itll work. They are phone photos.
The mist came down suddenly one minute early morning sun then down came the mist!Very mild weather :) The one above was a strange shaped cloud.
