Thank you Sheila. I hope you are having a good Christmas too. Stop lurking and join in :-))
Hey, there's my friend, Sheila! Hi! Hello to Harelady, too. Nice to see you. Glad you've come back to the sea!
LOL, hello Brenda and Diane! Hope all is well with you both. Diane, I am sure I heard that there were tornadoes in your neck of the woods - due to the warm weather. Hope all is OK with you, and your property.
The flooding is already horrendous. Cumbria no further flooding yet. Expected around midnight. Flooding from North Wales across to East Yorkshire, even Manchester city centre is flooded. Lancashire has been hit hard, especially around Whalley, Ribble Valley, which is an area we know very well. Too many places to mention have been severely flooded. Heart breaking to see.
Margo - Happy Birthday to you! So glad to read that you have had a lovely Christmas with your OH.
Daughter arrived safely but 11 hours mostly horrendous rain...
Around the lakes etc police army and lifeboats on trailers off to help..
Snow on the A9 ...
Quick beer and a play with Daisy..
Will crash out soon as been awake since 4 pm Christmas Day..
Happy Birthday Margo...xx
Hi, All. Boxing Day, so busy with more of J's boxes! Still working on OH to fling more of our old junk from the loft too!
Ospreys Rule OK, but Goldfinches come a close second!
Pleased that your daughter arrived safely, Wendy. A very difficult drive for her.
We are packed and ready to leave in the morning. Son's flight from Glasgow arrived 20mins early. Daughter had their dinner waiting for them on their arrival. Really looking forward to spending the next few days with them all.
I hope that the bad weather, here and in the USA, plus the fires in Australia, calm down and people, will at least, be able to plan for the future, but it does seem to be difficult to see how at the moment.
Just had a shower and washed my hair, so need to go and dry it now. 'See' you all in a few days. Enjoy the rest of the holiday.
Have a wonderful time with all the family, Brenda and OH!
