U.K.: 22 December at 4:48 a.m.Eastern U.S.: 21 December at 11:48 p.m.California: 21 December at 8:48 p.m.
Happy Summer Solstice to AQ in Adelaide, Australia (22 December at 3:19 p.m.), although I know you are already in the midst of a sweltering hot summer.
I hope you all have a wonderful week and holidays full of joy and peace!

Annette, OG usually has the better memory and I think she sees Terry on FB.I will be seeing my son on the 27th after they have spent a few days with his wife's mother. We will all meet up at daughter's house and spend a few days together.
Rita, So sorry to hear of your health problems and your stay in hospital. Well done to your son for being with you and then driving you South to be with the family for Christmas. Is there any chance that you could have your operation in a hospital near to him ? Do have a lovely Christmas.
HW is now complete. We will go shopping early tomorrow morning for the fresh produce.
You'll never believe this! Spent two evenings starting a BIG sort-out of J's stored belongings here in our loft! Well, no way would I say "no" to any opportunity to fling stuff! Has been a three person exercise - but I mostly sit and make lists and labels! Making progress, but will take most of next week to actually finish! (Sorry - excuse all the exclamations!)
Ospreys Rule OK, but Goldfinches come a close second!
Alan: Thank you - and a lovely Christmas and peaceful, happy, and health 2016 to you and Lady P.
OG: Congrats on the clean out
Brenda: Ah yes - I forgot you guys were getting together after the 25th.
AQ: I know it's Christmas Eve there, so hope all is well and that you're not too worn out to enjoy the family.
Just back from lunch with grandson and girlfriend. It was their treat! You can tell when kids have grown up when they pick up the tab. :-) We exchanged gifts (cash cards from us); wine and lovely bird feeder from them (he'd spotted our beaten up feeders in the garden last visit).
Merry Christmas (to those who celebrate the holiday) and Happy Full Moon!
For the first time since 1977, a Full Moon will occur on Christmas. This rare event won't happen again until 2034, so this is a very special Christmas!
I wish you all a wonderful holiday!
I'll make some replies tomorrow. My area had big thunderstorms tonight, and I had my computer off. Best wishes to everyone. Thinking of Margo.
Wishing you all very well. Have a very merry Christmas and all our good wishes for 2016.
Good Morning, All. A wild, wet and windy start to the day here. Thanks for your Christmas wishes, Alan and Dibnlib.
Sorry that you have got conjunctivitis, Dibnlib. Hope that it clears up asap.
Diane: Thanks so much for the wonderful link to the interesting info about the Moon this Christmas -- Everyone else, do scroll down a little on the page that Diane has linked to, as there you'll find the most glorious photo of our amazing planet Earth!! Just beautiful.
Annette - Sounds as if you enjoyed a good lunch out. Enjoy the bird feeder.
Rosy - What a great sight, Herons in flight -- lucky you!
OG - Another busy day or two - hope you confined yourself to just labelling!! Don't know what I'd do if my exclamation mark died, I use it far too often!!!!
I wish EVERYONE a very happy and safe Christmas.
We are expecting a red hot day, max of 38 C with north winds. Fire bans in most districts, so solid fuel BBQs not allowed. The "cool" change is expected late afternoon with warnings that umbrellas/marquees may blow away. Of course the firies are on alert as it will be the worst possible conditions.
S-i-l has 2 weeks off work (have I already told you this?), relief from nanny duty. On Tues I went over and stayed while S-i-l went shopping & errands. While twins napped, I took Miss4 to playground for 3/4 hour allowing Dau to wrap FC's gifts and hide them in shed. Nothing to watch on TV as I wait for Midnight Mass. Instead I am backing up (long overdue) my photos.
Good morning all from a very wet and windy Poole. My thoughts turn towards the people in Cumbria and the North who are having horrendous times with the flooding.
I hope everyone is just about ready for the big day.
So happy to see another Christmas after the trials and tribulations of the past 6 months. Things have looked bleak at times But there is a glimmer of hope now with the trial of a new drug.
Finally managed to get Christmars cake iced last evening after various things delayed us. After we finished that OH wrapped my presents up. He has had very little time to relax this week so I am going to make sure he does over Christmas. Will be going up to see his Mum next Monday as he didn't get time to do it before.
I have great admiration for my sister after her visit with Sienna and Rhys on Tuesday. They wore me out over the couple of hours that they were here. Obviously lots of excitement with Christmas Day looming. No wonder my sister is shattered when she has them both. Rhys asked why I only had one Christmas, apparently they have 4 at home. Poor Billie didn't know what to do with herself, she is not used to so much noise.
I wish you all a Happy Chrismas and Peaceful New Year. As I am feeling relatively OK will toast you all as I have some wine tomorrow.
Thanks for all your support which has meant so much to me through the stressful times.
Take care and enjoy the festive season.
Love Margo x
